Starfruit VS Kidney. Do you have any idea about this?

There has been controversy about the star fruit recently. One Malaysian citizen got comma after eating the star fruit and this news spread all over the country very fast.
Why is this happened? As we all know, all fruit bring benefits to our body and the doctors are also recommended it. Fruits are known contain vitamins and minerals that needed in our body.
In this case you would start have problem especially when you have kidney problem. The person who have kidney problem should reconsider it when they think about the star fruit.
Why?
Because there are some research about the star fruit and this fruit can possibly cause neurology complication like coma and death to the patient who have chronic kidney disease including the patient who undergo dialysis.
Kidney is very important organ for releasing the waste product out from the body. When this kidney malfunctioning, all the waste product will accumulate in the body and the only one way to overcome this problem is by using the dialysis or kidney replacement.
In this case, the star fruit may possibly have certain neurotoxin (the poison that can affect nervous system) and this substance only can be released in the body by kidney system. However the normal and healthy person who doesn't have kidney problem don't have to worry as long as your kidney can do its function normally.
Prevention is better than cure. Thus, avoid from eating star fruit frequently to make sure you won't get worse next time.
